This childrens and younger adults ghosts walk includes myths, legends and real ghost stories. All good ghost stories start from somewhere and Hull was a major starting point, these ghosts are dying to tell you thier stories. Ever wondered where the bogey man lived, where the sand man came from or the creature under the bed?

Since the beginning of spooky stories children have been made to understand scares. Why because our ghosts are for real!. Hull's childrens ghostwalks does have some sympathy when it comes to our ghostwalk stories for the younger, BUT! we will endeavour to spook and scare the kids anyway.

These walks are aimed at having fun. getting them involved but above all having the odd scare! (Kid style).

Hulls own stories include . .

The sandman a character in many children's stories. He is said to sprinkle sand or dust on or into the eyes of the child at night to bring on dreams and sleep. The grit or "sleep" in one's eyes upon waking is supposed to be the result of the Sandman's work the previous evening.

Hans Christian Andersen's 1841 folk tale Ole Lukøje introduced the Sandman, named Ole Lukøje, by relating dreams he gave to a young boy in his magical technique of sprinkling dust in the eyes of the children. Check out our sandman and you'll never sleep!

The bogey man is a mythical creature in many cultures used by adults or older children to frighten bad children into good behavior. This monster has no specific appearance, and conceptions about it can vary drastically from household to household within the same community; in many cases, he has no set appearance in the mind of an adult or child, but is simply a non-specific embodiment of terror. Parents may tell their children that if they misbehave, the bogeyman will get them. Bogeymen may target a specific mischief—for instance, a bogeyman that punishes children who suck their thumbs—or general misbehaviour, depending on what purpose needs serving. In some cases, the bogeyman is a nickname for the devil. Bogeyman tales vary by region and by town. Hull is no exception, here the bogeymans story here.

Hull's own family ghostwalks!

These walks are aimed directly at children; they often hold their nerve whilst adults lose theirs.

The walks take them on a journey of Hull and sees them getting involved at every corner, even a few games thrown in as they walk. How brave a child is depends on how they are approached! Come along as an adult for free and see how they react and maybe you'll learn a few things as you go!
